We meet: 2nd & 4th Thurs variable 09:30-11:30 at St John's Church Hall.This year both classes have been well attended as usual, and have produced a variety of articles to a very high standard. Most people don't realise how therapeutic patchwork is, how soothing to sit quietly and produce something in wonderful colours and textures. Do we appreciate how lucky we are to be able to attend classes with friendly people and with Maria to guide and advise?

If you have a computer that's getting slow using the Microsoft Windows operating system then why not give it new life with the free Linux system. Software is available for Word Processing, Networking, Photo Organising, Image Editing and Music Making, to name a few. Whatever your needs there is sure to be software for you. Mike
We meet: 2nd Thurs 14:00?16:00 at St John?s Church Hall. This is a small discussion group that covers a wide range of subjects from contemporary culture to fine arts. The range of topics to include political items and popular culture. Each topic is introduced briefly by one of the members and then thrown open for discussion. We all learn by examining the unfamiliar as well as the familiar. Hugh

We meet: Thurs 14:00-15:00 at St Mark's Community Centre.We will be reading simple dialogues in French to expand your vocabulary (most people remember a little French from their school days!). We will also be reviewing how to form the various verb tenses. Julie
