We meet: 2nd Tue 10:00 at various locations. We continue to explore this lovely corner of Surrey and neighbouring Sussex, making use of the many paths available to us to provide very varied walks of 4-6 miles. Different group members lead this happy, friendly group each month and you are most welcome to come and join us.
We meet: 2nd Tues 10:00-12:00 at Godalming United Church.Scottish Country Dancing is an excellent physical and mental workout, as well as being great fun. This is an intermediate group but beginners and experienced dancers are always welcome. We warm up with step practice, followed by a talk- and walk-through of both old favourites and new dances. If you like all sorts of music (pop to choral, easy listening to classical), give us a try. We're already planning Christmas plus something special for Easter 2020. We will be a friendly and supportive group providing members with the opportunity to explore and discuss books of different writing styles and genres. Although the first three novels have been identified to get us going, in December future books will be chosen by the group.

Members are in the middle of a 2 year course to learn bridge. Having completed year 1 at the end of April they will be embarking on the 2nd year in September. If all members return there will be very few spaces. In the past I have enrolled 1 or 2 who have a small knowledge of bridge but never absolute beginners as they are unable to keep up and they hold back the members who have completed one year.
We meet: Tues 14:00-15:00 at St Mark's Community Centre.We will be reading simple dialogues in German and studying some grammar (which is very important in German!) We will be reviewing the present and future verb tenses and. later in the year, learning a PAST tense. Julie
