    Thursday 15 November 2018  09:30am - 11:30am at St John's Church Hall

We meet: Thurs variable 09:30‒11:30 at St John's Church Hall.

This year both classes have been well attended as usual, and have produced a variety of articles to a very high standard. Most people don't realise how therapeutic patchwork is, how soothing to sit quietly and produce something in wonderful colours and textures. Do we appreciate how lucky we are to be able to attend classes with friendly people and with Maria to guide and advise?

We meet: 1st & 3rd Thurs 14:00‒16:00 at Unitarian Church Hall (opposite garage).

A friendly and mutually supportive art and craft group open to beginners or the more experienced. We explore ways to create 2- and 3-dimensional art work combining a variety of media, eg paint, pastel, collage, clay and textiles. This year we met twice for lunch followed by a talk and exhibition at The Lightbox Gallery, Woking. We aim to plan more outings next year. Guidance and help is always available alongside suggestions for personal projects.

We meet: 3rd Thurs 14:00‒16:00 at St John's Church Hall.

We read a wide variety of plays last season: Bedroom Farce by Alan Ayckbourn, Alarms and Excursions by Michael Frayn, A Woman of No Importance by Oscar Wilde, History Boys by Alan Bennett (with one scene in French!), and The Real Thing, a rather strange play by Tom Stoppard. It was a very successful and enjoyable year EXCEPT that once again we were very short of men . . . so, you men, please come and join us next year!
