We have enjoyed exploring paths in our lovely corner of south-west Surrey, on varied routes of 4-6 miles led each month by a different group member. Only once, in pouring rain, did I decide it was imperative to adjourn to a comfortable pub for a 'planning meeting'! Otherwise we're regularly out and about . . . do come and join us.
We meet: 2nd Tues 10:00‒12:00 at Godalming United Church.
Scottish Country Dancing is an excellent physical and mental workout, as well as being great fun. This is an intermediate group but beginners and experienced dancers are always welcome. We warm up with step practice, followed by a talk- and walk-through of both old favourites and new dances. The group meets in the Lammas Room of Godalming United Church. Please wear comfortable, flat shoes.
We meet: Tues 10:00‒12:00 at Unitarian Church Hall (opposite garage).
Another musically funtastic year with 64 singers on the books – wow! If you like all sorts of music (pop to choral, easy listening to classical), give us a try. We're already planning Christmas plus something special for Easter 2019. Without help from Ann Stewart (admin) and Matthew Smith (accompanist), life wouldn't be so happy – you can't be sad when you sing. Come and join us if you love singing.

We meet: 2nd & 4th Tues 14:00‒16:00 at Milford Village Hall.
Eighteen members of this class have now mastered the basics of bridge and are ready to move on to the ‘improvers' sessions. In the course of the two years they have made new friends and met in each other's houses to practise. We're therefore starting again on this class for absolute beginners. Com along if you're interested and find out why so many people get such pleasure playing the game.
We meet: 2nd Tues 14:00‒16:00 at Milford Village Hall.
Our sessions are, indeed, social ones, practicing bridge in a relaxed atmosphere. We thank Carol and John Fairbanks, who have relinquished the leadership role but who will happily still be attending. New players are always welcome.
We meet: Tues 14:00‒15:00 at St Mark's Community Centre.
We will be reading simple dialogues in German and studying some grammar (which is very important in German!). We will be reviewing the present and future verb tenses and. later in the year, learning a PAST tense.
